At a stall near you!
Following the success of the Wigan Council run stalls earlier this year, the Deal for Adult Social Care and Health teams and wider partners have collaborated by bringing health and social care advice to the heart of our local market. A range of lifestyle services aimed at identifying and promoting health issues are represented throughout the 3 week period. The services represented can support people to lose weight, stop smoking, reduce alcohol intake, increase physical activity and stay independently and safely in their homes for longer. The stalls promoted the services that are offered to everyone in the borough.
The Recovery Partnership partnered with the Citizens Advice Bureau on the 3rd November 2016 to deliver advice, information and guidance to the public on a range of issues related to substance misuse.
They will also be at Leigh Market on 10th November from 9.30am – 3pm alongside Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
